We know that muon2 is a state rep (my state rep!!!), but what do you think will be the highest political office achieved by one of us current Atlas users.

Bonus: Which person will achieve that office?

So you can report him to Dave, if he's to break an election promise.

Someone will probably be a US Rep or something, but we won't have any idea that the two are the same person (or, more likely, the person will stop posting years before).

I can imagine some Senator randomly googling themself to find analysis of their amazing re-election win with pretty maps, finding this site, making a few posts, and then rage quitting a few hours later.

If I recall correctly, Marc Allan Feldman did make a few posts here as well. Also, of course, Mark Graham and Tim Cook.

I could see myself making the US House if I seriously applied myself and only talked about some issues, but since neither of those latter two things are likely, probably not me.

No one here will ever be elected to an office at a level where serious campaigns happen. Mike Assad was beaten like a dog despite Tea Party endorsements due to his inherently unpleasant personality.

In contrast, AAD member Roger Stone will, God willing, be elected Senator from Florida.

I'm going with Congressman.

I once considered running for Congress but decided I couldn't win and would hate the job if I did.

What is the dollar threshold for a serious campaign these days?

Illinois state senator, but if the seat opens up, and he's willing to go to DC, and deal with federal rather than state issues, maybe US Congress rep. But Illinois desperately needs his talents in the state legislature, so that would be a loss to the state.

Illinois doesn't deserve him.
