Probably higher than anyone is predicting here, especially if we enter a recession this summer and into the fall. Hillary won't be able to run on Obama's third term if that happens

Yes, this could occur and in that case Trump would likely do well enough to win. Otherwise, I see him having a hard time getting above 41-42%, especially if there is another candidate disaffected Republicans can vote for. In the end I suspect most of them come home for Trump and he gets around 45-46% of the vote.

I would initially say about 46% to Hillary's 49%.  If we can unite, Trump would have a chance, but it would be unlikely.  Cruz would win 52% to 47%.

Extreme Republican was the closest in this old thread. Actual results Trump 46 to Clinton's 48.
