Florida for sure isn't Southern except for the Panhandle and some rural towns here and there, my part of Florida, the only people who have southern accents or act 'southern' are from out of town.

I tend to agree with this. In terms of religiosity, accent, geography, historical accounts, and other things, this fits well. Voted for all but Indiana

All but Missouri and Indiana.  I will admit that "culturally Southern" is going away.  I consider Virginia and Florida culturally Southern, at least for historical reasons.  Texas and Louisiana have similar statuses, but are culturally Southern.

There's a huge difference between LA and TX unless you ignore the vast majority of TX west of the Trinity river.
I meant that they have similar statuses in being kind of Southern, but not exactly Southern, not that they are the same.

Appalachian culture =/= Southern culture
I think they are both aspects one overarching Southern culture.

All but Indiana have a decent claim to this, although Missouri, Florida, Texas, Virginia and Oklahoma only have chunks that count.

All of these except Indiana, and possibly Florida and Virginia.

While rural Virginia is culturally Southern, it's very quickly transforming into more of a Northeastern state culturally and politically, almost like another version of Florida.  And it's close enough to the Northeast that it can be considered one geographically.  These kind of Northeastern/Midwestern transplants were what transformed the Solid South for Democrats into a Republican-leaning region (see the Bushes), and that same trend is making Dems more competitive in the Outer South again.
