With Harry's announcement of his running-mate, I hereby open this voting booth to all members of the Farmer-Labor Party for the presidential endorsement revote, and whether we can open talks with the Freedom Party for a merger or a formal alliance.  It begins right now, and will remain open until 12 am, Monday morning, EST.  And depending on how slow the voting is, it could be extended until at least 15 of the 20 or so Farmer-Labor Party members have voted.

For the presidential race, you can list your top three choices -maximum- on whom you think the Farmer-Labor Party should endorse.  If you decide not to endorse anyone, simply write 'None of the above' or 'Abstain'.  No write-ins will be allowed -you have to choose among the choices provided below.

In addition, you have to choose the whole ticket -you cannot pick and choose among presidential and vice-presidential candidates for your ballot.  Anyone doing so will not have their vote counted:

Presidential Race
Harry (FL -MS)/Ebowed (FL -SC)
Siege40 (IL -VT)/Emsworth (IL -NJ)
King (CU -VT)/John Dibble (L- GA)
Keystone Phil (ACA -PA)/MHS2002 (CU -VA)
Supersoulty (F -PA)/WMS (F -NM)
John F. Kennedy (I -CA)/Ernest (I -SC)
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Question 1

Should the Farmer-Labor Party consider initiating official talks with the Freedom Party for a possible merger?  Vote Aye or Nay.

Question 2

Should the Farmer-Labor Party consider initiating official talks with the Freedom Party for a possible alliance?  Vote Aye or Nay.

note -this does not mean that such an opening of dialogue binds either party to agree on a merger or an alliance.

"No endorsement" should be an option.

NOTA and Abstain will be options.  Also the King/Bob ticket is now King/John Dibble (or possibly vice versa).

1. No Endorsement (as in, remaining neutral)
2. Harry/Ebowed (since they're party members)
3. Siege/Emsworth (I'm actually in no ways decided who I'll vote for. Might yet go JFK/Ernest, actually, but I can't preference four choices)

Questions:

Sorry to invade your voting booth but why am I not on the list?

Does everyone take my candidacy as some sort of joke or something?

An error, most likely.

I think many people do.  (No offense intended.)

i take your party as a joke, which is the main reason i did not include it -if a political party does not take itself seriously, why should I?

in any case, since i consider your individual candidacies more seriously than i do your party, i will include your ticket on the list -but as independents, not as members of the Atlasian Monster Raving Loony Party.

Yes.  If you're running a serious campaign, cut the joke crap.  It's funny, but I don't want a mixed campaign.  Either it's a joke or not, make up your damn mind already.

I never claimed to be running a serious campaign Tongue. I merely asked if my campaign was considered a joke Tongue. Oh and just because one runs a joke campaign, doesn't mean they will be a complete joke in office just like if you run a serious campaign doesn't mean you won't be a joke in office (See Naso, Mike)

Oh and, thanks Lewis Smiley

Due to the latest developments, the Dibble/King ticket that I listed earlier will be the King/Dibble ticket instead.  Those who cast their vote for the former will be counted as having voted for the latter.  So, there is no need to change your ballots.

This booth is now closed

Texasgurl has left the Party and her votes (Siege, Nay, Nay) have not been counted.

With 7 votes for and none against, Harry is endorsed by the Farmer Labor Party

With 1 vote for, and 7 against, Question 1 is defeated.

With 4 votes for and 4 against, Question 2 is neither adopted nor defeated. A revote will be held at some point in the near future.

Thank you for voting
