Usually the president is better known than the First Lady, and I think that holds true even with Hillary's extremely high name recognition. When/if Hillary becomes President, she'll have equal name recognition to Bill simply by being the President, though.

If you're president, the world knows you. Right now, only one has been in that role.

I'd really like to meet the person who knows one and not the other.

Maybe there's a chance of some young Fox News viewer who has been bombarded by Hillary stories but is way too young to remember Bill, or a senile person who can't remember anything that happened 20 years ago.

I think Hillary is more well-known among people who were born during and after Bill's presidency. Among older people, I'd say Bill is better-known since he was already President, but there are very few people left who haven't heard of both of them at this point.

This should answer your question:

Hillary didn't even have one picture alone on the first page until late 2014.

1992 - 2015: Bill
In 2016, as the GE ratchets up? Hillary.

If Hillary wins, then she'll be more well known as time goes on.
If she loses, she'll just be a footnote.

Bill, even despite being difficult to think too many people who wouldn't one without the other. Eventually you will connect the dots as you start being interested in news-politics.

Right now?  Bill Clinton for sure, both in America and around the globe.

But by the time she becomes President, Hillary will be more known.

There are probably a fair number of people even in America who haven't heard of either of them.  Not just children, either, there are a lot of people here who basically just live on the fringe of society.

If Hillary wins she'll obviously go down in the history books. Bill will be known as a well-liked president who was married to the future first female president.

Among Atlas posters, this guy is almost certainly better known:
