Bernie Sanders has done rather well with primary voters despite being older than anyone who has ever won a presidential party's nomination.
Does this mean that the Clinton campaign would be less worried about an older running mate, and might be more open to individuals in their 60s? Sherrod Brown helps out in a key swing state, and has a progressive record. Elizabeth Warren is a progressive favorite with expertise on financial matters. Al Franken would be a relentlessly on-message celebrity.
The Clinton campaign has a damaged, unlikable candidate at the top of the ticket who (a) sees nothing wrong with maintaining sensitive information on an unsecure private server, (b) is busy gathering up as much money from her Wall Street buddies while not telling anyone what she said to bring in that money, and (c) likes to scream at voters between bouts of uncontrollable coughing fits. Honestly, the age of Hillary Clinton's choice for VP is the
least of their worries.
