What is your opinion of the legendary Manhattan, New York congressman who is officially retiring in 2016? What will be Rangel's legacy as a kingmaker in Harlem and New York politics, and even national politics?

Corrupt clown who should've left office years ago.  I swear that when he chaired the Ways & Means Committee, the media renamed it to "the powerful House Ways & Means Committee."

On the other hand, I can do a great impression of his raspy voice and Hawlem accent.  I remember on time hearing him in an interview pronounce "burst" as "boisht."

Thank goodness this nutcase is retiring.

Terrible, though not the worst. HP overall, though not as HP as some of his colleagues.

FF, but I'm ready to see a fresh new face (and I'm thrilled that I'm on this side of the CD boundary)

He's the living embodiment of the argument in favor of congressional term limits.

I actually despised him until he had the balls to hold a lavish, celebrity studded, tacky, Trumpian 80th birthday celebration in the middle of his corruption scandal. Then, after being reelected, I came to appreciate him as the character that he is.

Still HP, but as long as he isn't my Congressman, I'm not opposed to a Charlie Rangel or two in Congress to keep me entertained.
