I'm sure most of the comments here are jokes, but since nobody mentioned it, it's pretty obvious Ted Cruz didn't notice her fall, and with all the noise, didn't hear it either.
There is not a single thing I like about Ted Cruz. I don't want to seem to be self righteous but like the Bob Dylan lyric goes, this is how I want to be thought of:
"Let them say that I walked
In fair nature's light
And that I was loyal
To truth and to right"
So, I'm all for going after Ted Cruz, but one doesn't have to resort to telling lies about him to do it.
