Oh, well in that case, he's wrong, but Halperin often throws out provocative-but-not-entirely-outlandish ideas like this.  Obama won California 60-37, if illegal immigration becomes a big enough issue Trump could narrow that gap.  But a landslide Trump victory is much more likely to come from working-class voters in New York, Michigan and Pennsylvania
