If only Cruz could still pull off Nebraska and South Dakota, and hadn't won Maine, it would look so much neater.

The primaries Cruz won:

Idaho
Oklahoma
Texas
Wisconsin

What an outlier Wisconsin was, I'm so proud of my state.

To be honest one of the first things I thought when I heard Cruz dropped was "well there goes any chance of a decent looking map"

I almost wonder if Kasich could win Nebraska.  But, probably not, since people seem to feel that the nomination is over.

I almost wonder if Kasich could win Nebraska.  But, probably not, since people seem to feel that the nomination is over.

That's pretty much assuming that nearly all Cruz voters in that state align with #StopTrump or #NeverTrump, and are willing to throw in their lot with Kasich en masse despite the fact that Trump is the de facto nominee.  I don't see that as particularly likely.

In reality, every state from now on will vote for Trump by a 70-30 (non-Trump) margin or greater.

Primaries that aren't contested until the very end always have ugly maps. The worst part of this map, is, of course, that Trump won so many states, and Cruz won almost all of the rest.

I'll say 25 plus or minus 5.

Any other candidates in past history with the same map as Trump?
