While I think Hillary is favored, Trump certainly has a least a possibility of winning. There's always the chance that a recession hits or something. It's only May, who knows. 6 months until the election.
No one expected him to win the nomination and yet here we are on May 3rd 2016, Donald Trump the presumptive nominee.

I really hope you are right. She is now the only thing that stands between this world and the worst disaster since, at least, WWII.

PredictIt starts it off at 60/40 tonight, which I find to be slightly optimistic for my guy.

Not that it matters, but Betfair has it at 70/30.

No, dumb people who can't read polls didn't expect to win the nomination.

Let's not get cocky. She certainly should beat Little Donny, but this has been an extremely unpredictable cycle, and we need to treat this like a competitive race.

This kind of thinking and overestimating Hillary is what will have her giving the same speech Ted Cruz (along with 17 others) did come Nov 2016.   Don't underestimate  Donald J Trump.   He just destroyed an entire republican field of good candidates Bush, rubio, walker etc..   Without any real organization or big money.   He has his flaws i admit, but you guys will be in for a shock if you simply write him off.  Don't make the same mistake Carter did in 1980

The NAFTA chicken will come home to roost.

Really?  People on the US Election Atlas forum overestimating Clinton's chances is going to cost her the election?  I didn't realize we were that important.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight.

It's the size of the fight in the dog.

And Donald Trump is going to be entertaining to say the least.

He really needs to fix up with women and minorities.....and fast.

I won't disagree that Clinton is favored, but people have underestimated the Trump this whole election cycle. He can win it, and has much better odds, IMO, than he is being given credit for.

Just remember, 538's pundits gave Trump 0%, 2% and -10% chance to win the nomination back in August. And he won.

Don't you hate when the left tries to twist statements to make it seem as if you don't know what you are talking about.  The thread was made "congrats President Hillary Clinton". The attitudes displayed here are actually reflective of the left right now outside of the interwebs.  Just read the publications, MSM etc..

Clinton isn't underestimating Trump though. She and other democratic groups have been running non-stop oppo research, focus groups, and is already reserving huge ad buys in the swing states that will force Trump into worse and more expensive time slots.

The rest of the Republican field decided to be cucks and wait until it was too late to hit back against Trump. She's going to hit him back twice as hard for every blow he throws at her.

This is the first time I've seen anyone on the Internet use the word "cuck" in a pro-Clinton context.
