Clinton isn't underestimating Trump though. She and other democratic groups have been running non-stop oppo research, focus groups, and is already reserving huge ad buys in the swing states that will force Trump into worse and more expensive time slots.

The rest of the Republican field decided to be cucks and wait until it was too late to hit back against Trump. She's going to hit him back twice as hard for every blow he throws at her.

This is the conventional campaign memo stuff It didn't work.  Trump isn't running as the boss everybody loves hes running as the asshole boss that gets things done.   Look at all the money they wasted fighting him in the primaries with pretty much everything.  Trump is going to pound jobs jobs jobs NAFTA..  While Hillary attacks eventhough her negatives are just as high.

Oh, puh-leeze. Trump has enough to fund his own campaign many times over. You make it sound like Trump is poor.

Trump does not have a billion dollars cash stuffed down his pants. A lot of his wealth exists as real estate and other illiquid assets. Do you think he is going to sell Trump Tower to finance a doomed presidential campaign?

Or he can try and suck the teat of the GOP donor class and prove to all the people who actually believe he isn't corrupt or buyable that he is in fact just as bad as the politicians they hate.

The general election audience is vastly different than the predominantly white Pub electorate. Trump was toxic to the GOP field and was able to prevail due to a rather fortuitous set of circumstances (divided field, weak field, WTA primaries), and his general election favorables are absolutely toxic; something like 30/70 fav/unfav, which are drastically worse than Secretary Clinton's.

Exactly.   He is basically taking out a loan to do this and he isn't going to risk his billions on some presidential campagain were others decide the outcome.   Its amazing that he was able to win against the big money candidates when you consider.

People can vote for whomever they please. Those voting for Trump are ignorant fools.

Trump is a fascist, and not just in the sense of throwing the word at him as an insult. His campaign has a great deal in common with academic or historical definitions of fascism - the notion of cultural and national decay and rebirth, the hyper-nationalism, the vague populism, the anti-rationality and opposition to intellectual discourse, the cult-like appeal of a Leader, the ready advocacy of political violence, the calls to overthrow existing political order in favor of The Movement, ready xenophobia, obsession with strength, the mish-mash of anti-capitalism with capitalism, intent to limit free speech and rule as a totalitarian - they're all there in the Trump campaign.

He does, fortunately it is not 1980 anymore and his supporters are in the minority.

I really think folks should consider vetting Hillary Clinton. The information brought to light by Peter Paul is troubling, to say the least.

He's not nearly as liquid as he'd like the public to believe (and has hundreds of million in debt). That's probably why he's using his campaign as a moneymaking scheme.
