And now it's Trump.

Vote while I wait for Sanders to drop.

Massive FF

He should have won this election. I hope he runs again in 2020 and wins.

While I disagree with Kasich on multiple issues he came across much more tame then both Trump and Cruz.

Boring dime-a-dozen Gingrichite deficit hawk with ego problems. He's basically a 63 year-old Paul Ryan, which shows why Ryan wasn't interested in getting in the race.

Generally a FF, but had some odd bad points, like his inability to talk about women. Plus he is a $uckeye (cringes). Giving him a both.

Not as bad as the other two, but still an insufferable person.

Kasich had an odd duality about him, simultaneously a quixotic happy warrior and frustrated egomaniac. Personally, I found it disconcerting and never liked him as a candidate because of it.

The holder of an honor of being the last standing Trump's opponent, having been in the race a few hours longer than Cruz.

You said this in better words than I would've used, but yes, there was this odd contrast between the person he was trying to be and the person he was. Off-putting.

Three years of support and he left me having to support Trump.

Only difference is, I came to that conclusion in December. I knew then this day would come.

Has some flaws, but compared to the alternatives, infinitely superior to the alternatives. FF.

The best candidate. If he had been the nominee, I really would have enjoyed voting for him. Now I'm holding my nose for Hillary.

Much less objectionable than Donald Trump or Ted Cruz. Much less scary. Much saner. Maybe more consistently reactionary than Donald Trump, but demagogues are infamously inconsistent, irresponsible, and untrustworthy.

He seemed like a conventional Reaganite, with which we have some familiarity.

By far the best Republican of the cycle. I still wouldn't have voted for him, though.

Not one of my favorites of this cycle (not conservative enough), and I still wish Rick Perry would have gotten that last podium instead of him, but still infinitely better than Trump.

Wow, he dropped out. Getting 2% in Iowa didn't stop him, getting low single digits in southern states behind Ben Carson didn't stop him, losing by double digits to Trump in every contest except Ohio and Vermont didn't stop him. Ted Cruz dropping out did. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I think he could've been working against Cruz.
