I guess some people just won't accept reality. We see it all the time around the internet.

The longer Hillary stays in the race, the longer she keeps our presumptive nominee from sealing the deal.  Her loss in Indiana only confirms that her campaign is at death's door.

If not for Hillary votes, Bernie would've be the nominee by now. What a nuisance.

Whatever. Twitter does not represent the electorate at-large.

Yeah, I mean if Republicans can clear the nomination for him, why can't Hillary just clear the GE field for him as well? Where's our President Trump coronation!?

Agreed. We shouldn't worry what trends on sites like Twitter because they don't decide what happens in elections and government.

The combination of Trump Twitter and Bernie Bros is a powerful one on the internet.

Do these stupid white kids on Reddit and Twitter realize that superdelegates stealing the election for Bernie would be the biggest disenfranchisement of black voters since the civil rights era, or do they just not care?

The role of a superdelegate is to represent what each superdelegate believes are the best interests of the party. As much as pundits may claim otherwise, there's nothing in their role about abiding by the pledged delegate lead, it's just they have always gone along with it so far to be politically correct. And as much as Bernie may claim otherwise, there's nothing in their role about abiding by 70-30 landslides in their state or congressional district.

Contrary to popular belief, going against the voters for the good of the party is what superdelegates are supposed to do. So there's nothing wrong with Bernie trying to convince the superdelegates that it's in the greater interest of the party to support him - but he shouldn't use the states he's won in the primaries as an argument for it.

Well I'd rather she drop out before the convention than in November.

Superdelegates have gone for the pledged delegate winner in every election as long at they've existed.

If you don't count the states Hillary won, Bernie has an insurmountable lead.

She has 12 million "likes" in the form of votes so far, so until and unless this surpassess that total, I'll pay it no notice.

Bernie's lost to her in a landslide, and soon Trump will too. Not surprising that the angry midogynist male base of voters that support Bernie and Trump are throwing a hissy fit.
