Hasn't the 72 hours expired, though? Per past precedent and Article V of the Senate Rules, the vote should now be closed regardless to whether every Senator has voted.

Is it explicitly specified as "72 hours" only, or "72 hours or until all Senators have voted"?

I wrote a part of the new rules and if I recall correctly this is 72 hours maximum.

Thank-you, Mr. Vice President, and thank-you to Clark for leaving the Senate in good order! I'll have things up and running in a jiffy.

Since you introduced your bill in the Legislation Introduction Thread and not in the Citizen Initiative Thread, I can't bring the bill to the floor until a Senator volunteers as sponsor anyways.

Congratulations, Speaker Truman! While it's obviously not my preferred outcome, I know the Senate is in good hands.

Congrats, Truman. Smiley

I must say this reminds me of my victories as PPT with six "Labor Elected" Senators. Of course that was thanks to Napoleon being one of those six. Tongue

Would like to thank Kent for his service as Speaker, it's often a thankless task (heck I lost an election just to get away from it Tongue)
