I'd say the Dakotas, primarily North Dakota, since it's the least visited state.
Pros
• They elected Heidi Heitkamp instead of Rick iceberg.
• Only state to have a state bank
• Strong economic growth, weathered the Great Recession of 2008 and continues to have the lowest unemployment rates
• Shoutout to the movie Fargo!

Cons
• It has the highest percentage of churches per capita (I think)
• The Bakken Formation (I realize that without it, economic growth and strength probably wouldn’t exist)
• Extreme cold
