Personally, I do not see how he can mend relations with any three of these groups, if he did it would obviously be the women/female demographic as that is the only group I could see warm on Trump.

He definitely needs to repair his relations with women and minorities ASAP.

Can he? To a certain extent, yes.
Will he? Errr.....

He may win some back, but not nearly enough to win the election, although most of us have been wrong about him and his ability to attract supporters. We'll see I guess.

No.

And we haven't been wrong about his ability to attract supporters. He's only gotten 37 percent of Republicans.

It would take, may be, ten years, or so. He would need to really work on it.

It's a shame Melania is still young and attractive, otherwise he could quickie divorce her and marry somebody who matches one or two of these demographics.  Maybe one of the Miss USAs from Central America or the Middle East?

The danger is, such a wife might be in it only to slip some poison into his diarea medication.

All he needs are women, and he'll work on it. I'm not sure he can do it, but he'll try.

No with the exception Republican women, only of about half of whom support Trump.  As for the rest, the notion he can is flat-out foolish.

Nope, the damage is done. The number of people in the country who don't have a pretty fixed opinion of Trump is probably pretty small.

Nope, and that's why he's toast.  No number of taco bowls (or falafel sandwiches) will save him.

It's not going to get better: it's going to get worse. Large segments of the populace have an unfavorable opinion of him, but it is a surface-level feeling for most at the moment. They may have heard one or two comments in passing through social media or the news, but most people aren't like us. The bulk of the public isn't paying attention to the degree that you'd expect a month or so before the election.

When they do start paying attention, it is going to be nothing but an endless stream of media playing his comments over and over and over and over and over. Take what your Facebook politico news feeds look like right now and then imagine every form of media looking like that, because that's what is going to happen.

I really doubt he (or any Republican) cares about repairing relations with the Muslim community.

But wouldn't that alienate his KKK and Neo-Nazi base?

Latino: No. Maybe he can repair some damage among Cuban-Americans, but even that seems unlikely.
Women: Doubtful. Less absurd than than the other two, but still very difficult.
Muslims: Absolutely not, and he would alienate many of his own supporters if he tried to.

Trump is essentially not a person to "repair"  something. He is a man to cause distruction.

Any attempt to "soften" his image/tone/rhetoric will be seen as a sign of moderation by his supporters and that's a sign of weakness. Trump pretty much can't do anything to repair the damage he's done with these minority groups because it was the key to his victory in the primaries: "he says whatever he wants and doesn't back down!" I do, however, except to see more of the hilariously pathetic taco bowl photos/tweets as a subtle attempt to "appease" the minorities (when in reality he's inflicting more damage by engaging in these stereotypically insulting maneuvers). I think his supporters can see the hidden racism in pictures like these, which, of course, only make them like him more. He's banking on maximizing the angry white working-class male vote, which ironically is going to be a minority in this election. He's not going to back down; in fact, I expect him to double and triple down on all of the insulting and offensive remarks he's made that have been the bedrock of his charade campaign.

He can get those numbers down to around 40% disapproval if he actually tried.

Far as hispanics like i mentioned before it would be great if he won despite of them because that would basically be a mandate from American voters to finally stand up to the open boarders crowd.

BTW.. Mitt lost because hes Mitt Romney nobody wanted to vote for that guy republican or dem and even now he running around the country begging people to like him.
