For comparison:

Clinton, 2016 Primary: 36.0%
Obama, 2012 General: 35.5%

Trump will lose by such an enormous margin nationally that I think she'll beat Obama's 2012 numbers.  After all, she isn't black.

Disagree.

WV may be Trump's best state.  They're resentment toward the Democratic Party is personal.  The Democrats attacks on fossil fuels is an attack on their livelihoods, and folks tend to vote the side of the bread their butter is on when it's made clear to them that this is what's at stake.

Trump's only best state. He will get single digits in mostly all the Romney states.

WV will be one of Trump's best states, perhaps WY and/or OK will surpass it.  I think Clinton will get really close to that 36% she got in the primary (assuming no major third party gains traction).  If I had to guess right now, she'll do slightly worse and lose like 63-35, more or less matching Obama's 2012 performance.  Not being black helps her, but the national Democratic brand in WV has eroded even further.

I think Clinton can overperform Obama's 08 numbers nationally and still do worse than Obama's 2012 WV numbers.

WV is custom-made for Trump. Clinton will be lucky to get half as many votes as him there.

I think NAFTA was seen as a huge betrayal as well.  Which only makes it that much more of a superstate for Trump.

Result in the fall election. I think West Virginia will be TRUMP's best state. He may catch up to 70% there.
