I almost expected her to do worse.

When the exit polling came out, I was expecting at least a 20 point loss. In reality, she's not doing terrible. Sanders is only going to be picking up about 4 or 5 delegates tonight.

"Other" above 25% in Wyoming County, with nearly 20% going to Paul Farrell

Putnam County, too.  That leaves Clinton up in Jackson County on the Ohio River, and Berkeley and Jefferson Counties in the Eastern Panhandle.  Jackson will likely flip to Sanders when more of the election day vote is counted.  The Eastern Panhandle counties, on the other hand, could remain Clinton.  They're D.C. exurbs.

Jefferson flips to Bernie with 94% reporting. Now that's a place I'm happy to see Bernie win.

Actually, Nate Cohn says Nebraska only has early vote in right now so it could be pretty close.

It's not only early vote, but it mostly is. The few counties that have completely reported tend to be pro-Bernie.

Clinton has been projected by AP to win the Nebraska beauty contest. She's up 61% to 39% with 17% in.

The margin will only continue to grow as the rest of the vote comes in. Could be a 20+ point margin. Also, a county sweep now looks likely. Excellent news! Smiley

And the odds of the primary map approaching maximum ugliness level just went up.

Excellent! Great job Hilldawg!

Caucuses are so awful. In a normal primary Nebraska probably would've been a tight race.

I'm thinking this too if the Nebraska primary is any indication. I'd love a map of the Democratic primary though, every site just has the Democratic caucus and GOP primary results.

Sanders is holding rallies on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and in Rapid City on Thursday.

South Dakota? No. The only reason Hillary is winning Nebraska is because it awarded 0 delegates, so Bernie's campaign had no reason to care.

Turnout is about to be higher than the caucus  with only a quarter of precincts reporting though. So even though Sanders' campaign didn't care, the Democrats and Democratic-leaning voters of Nebraska did care about this primary more than the caucus.

Yeah, the NE caucus may not be truly representative of the electorate, but it's a better indicator in that there's actually some incentive to vote in it. Let's not forget that NE allowed absentee voting, and it was closed, which kept Sanders' margin down. Again, there are problems with caucuses, but let's not act like beauty contests are more representative just because we like the results more.

Yep, my thoughts exactly regarding West Virginia tonight! Smiley

But seriously, see what happens when you have a real election as opposed to going and standing and screaming at each other in a high school gymnasium? Caucuses never should have been a thing.

Jackson County flipped to Sanders, leaving Berkeley as the lone Clinton holdout.  Sanders is within 0.4 points there, so it will likely flip, too.  It looks like a clean county sweep for Sanders in WV.
