Why is Trump still campaigning in primary states (he campaigned in WV, NE and he planned some events in the next primary states) and didn't start to campaign in swing states?

I assume it's in an effort to build up goodwill nationwide.

That would be my guess as well. Seems to make sense, anyway.

If he's feeling optimistic, OR and NM can be swing states, but the other remaining primary states are clearly all safe.

Trump doesn't really have a coherent general election strategy so he's just pretending it's still the primaries for as long as possible.

Trump just loves campaigning and hearing the roar of the crowd - it energizes him. He'll keep doing this while he gets his VP pick sorted out and the Dems finish their primaries before fully turning his guns against Hillary.

He also hasn't clinched yet technically--I actually agree with this policy--I think he wants to clinch first as insurance

He wants to ensure he finishes strong, winning with 50-60% with the rest of the field dropped out, would not look overly impressive and may suggest some division within the GOP.

He already has the record for most votes in a Republican presidential primary. He's running up the score.

Maybe with Bush at the top of the ticket. Not Trump.

True. He probably wants to be able to say truthfully that he got more primary votes than Hillary.

Its a key part of him winning against others so far.

If he can break 50 % in the primary's popular vote, he'll deny his GOP detractors one talking point (that the majority voted against him).

I think it's pretty much impossible for him to get an outright majority of the primary vote.  There just aren't enough states left.

He'll probably get around 46 or 47% in the end.

He wants strong results and as many votes as possible so that he reaches around 50% of the total popular vote in the end. He's only at 41% right now. (Romney got 52% in 2012 and McCain 47% in 2008, although the Trumpster has exceeded them in total votes already).

What else would he do?  Trump campaigning is dirt cheap.  He shows up, gives a speech, and gets more prime time media coverage than anyone could buy with a billion dollars.

He sucks at every other type of campaigning.  He sucks at organizing, ground game, fund raising, back room political glad handing, etc.  I suppose he could just take the traveling circus from town to town in competitive states but regardless of where he does a rally he gets national coverage and it's nice to keep score with primary wins.

He probably expects (and likely for a good reason) that if he doesn't have a majority of delegates at the convention, the GOP establishment will find some way to wrench the nomination from him.
