The Church is Italy, and Italy is the Church.

Since the Ottoman Empire is also a Caliphate, I understand.

Okay, a few things:

  • A few details changed, China economy updated to "very low" and Alfonsist navy/air-force mistake corrected.
  • Turn Six updated with player crisis. Some are fairly simple, I've struggled to do research lately and went off mostly by memory and my personal library.
  • You now have two threads to debate the Balkan War and Hong Kong. Windjammer also gets another conference, but since he's the sole player there there's no need for a thread.
  • Backstories updated with the Balkan explanatory post I wrote some months ago.
  • Terribly sorry, I made a mistake with Greece. King Constantine died in 1922, so all references of his person are to be considered as things King George II and Prime Minister Metaxas did.

Given all developments, I'm not sure Saudi Arabia (more Saudi state) had yet developed into oil producer. Diffrent story with Iran, though.

Aye, research failure there. On the other hand, the unification of Arabia accelerated from our current world due to fear of the Ottoman Empire, so the backstory will be that the Saudi state found oil much earlier, but is only starting to export it in small amounts now.

OK. Since SA wasn't mentioned as a oil producer before. Thanks for claryfying.

I've managed to answer a few PM's and doubts, please tell me if there's anything left outstanding. We'll see how negotiations go until Wednesday where you will get a war update (China, Russia) and the turn would end ideally between Friday and Saturday.

Hopefully my demands are just barely small enough to where they don't cause a giant controversy.

For the record, I haven't forgotten to update, I need the China moves for the Civil War (NeverAgain asked for an extention a couple of days ago and was granted one, although the term has expired).

Sorry for the delay, I challenged myself to write an article for the history magazine of my university and spent most of the week furiously reading Plutarch, Appian and a ridiculous number of obscure articles and books, so I barely had any time to relax.

Anyway, that's current developments on Russia and China. This turn has gone on for too long, so I'd like to be able to close it as soon as possible. That means as early as Sunday if possible, if players have the time to send their orders by then.

Now that most of the wars are over. Would it be possible to stop the midturns unless for important events?
Thanks in advance,

Thank the gods, we have a green light on the Paris and Istanbul conferences, and all that's needed is a few player signatures.

This turn ends tomorrow. And beware, there's a few surprises involved in the end of turn.

Writing the end of turn, and boy, are we in for some surprises. Without revealing much, at least a player is reach an end game.
