So question:

If me and France do this whole meet up thing between the Pope and the King's son, would the gm outline the King's son's requests? Otherwise I'd be arguing with myself no?

I would indeed.

I've been really busy these past two days. I'll be answering PM's tomorrow morning.

Hello, all. I've formed an opposition political party in America as Henry Ford. We're vying for seats in the upcoming midterms, trying to unite the two opposition parties currently in existence.

The American Party: For American Government, American Defense, and American Prosperity.

Veterans might remember just how downright fun Ernst was in the original BoP as a few Democratic politicians opposing President McKinley. Potus suggested the concept of playing as a US party, and I think it would be a fascinating scenario to explore.

He won't have player crisis to handle (unless Ford was to get elected President), but hopefully this should add more depth to the game. Welcome, Potus!

It was best thing ever! You should look that up, Potus, if only for laughs Grin

I'll have to look that up myself, gives me some idea for the future.

Sorry I haven't been around, things have been crazy. I'll be answering PM's, and I'll post Prince Umberto's demands for peace in the Gameplay Thread.

Why? It's not like we're moving at a breakneck pace. At most we're talking about one turn.

Yeah.

I hope we can speed things up after Christmas, though.

Well, this turn ends on Friday. If more players want a break we can certainly set a few days for it, without going overboard, although I don't think the game currently demands that much time.

There is a bit of an issue with a couple inactive players, so I have to decide on whether to remove their characters or leave them open for new or old players.

I need a break, and really.

Please don't take it personally, but the game went on hold too many times because one or two players were inactive. I propose we allow Lumine to close this turn, provide results and reopen for players after the break, so at least we know something's moving.

I'm alive again, thank the gods. Some files I lost, but thankfully I saved the game maps and some notes I had taken regarding player choices.

On the other hand, the game has slowed (in large part thanks to my delays) significantly, so my question is, do players wish to continue, or change anything about the gameplay here?

I can't speak for the others, but I personally would like to see this continued, if only because I only got to be pope for a turn and I wanna keep doing pope stuff.

That's good enough for me, we'll go ahead then. I'll look on whether I can close the turn or not today.

Yes! Cheesy

Lumine, should I re-send my orders to you?

Please do, just to be on the safe side.

And turn closed, as promised. Next turn ought to start this week, but I have an issue pertaining Russia and the US. Other countries are reasonably active, but Russia (Blair) seems to show up sporadically, and the US (Leonardo) didn't show up at all this turn.

So it would be helpful to know whether those players will continue, and of course, whether any of the other players faces an issue or they can carry on as normal.

Regarding Blair,
Maybe he thought the game has stopped so he didn't send war orders?

I've been awful at keeping track of this; I've really enjoyed it but I feel I'm doing a disservice since I haven't been able to put much into it lately
