I've been awful at keeping track of this; I've really enjoyed it but I feel I'm doing a disservice since I haven't been able to put much into it lately

Well, it's been a pleasure having you around, Blair!

Assuming you won't continue, we have three options here:

1.- Kerensky is deposed/killed, replaced with a new Russian player.
2.- Kerensky is deposed, Provisional Government dissolves in chaos like the Kuomintang (no player).
3.- Pro-Tsarist forces or the Tsar himself lead a counter-coup against the Social Democrats, Kolchak is installed as head of state and Siberia and Russia unite.

If he wants to, yes. Roosevelt's term is supposed to end in January 1933, but with the way current events have developed I'm sure we can find a way to solve the dilemma if he doesn't want to play Roosevelt or Vice-President Barkley.

Option 3 obviously seems to me the likeliest scenario. I mean, Kerensky accepted ambitious nationalists in his government who has relations with the Tsar.
So I clearly can see a coup happening with Kerensky's falling popularoty and with the need of oil , something Kolchak has clearly.
As kolchak is a tsarist, I think it is a likely scenario.

I mean, if the players don't mind, it would simplify the game a lot. But I leave it up to discussion (particularly I'm interested in knowing what NeverAgain thinks)

Btw, I'm sorry for not re-sending orders immediatelly. Time difference you know. I hope I'll still make it.

No worries, Kalwejt. I still had the PM's, so I went through them and wrote the orders down. Also, here's a list of some heads of state I found interesting:

List of British PM’s:

Lord Salisbury (1895-1903)
Arthur Balfour (1903-1909)
Edward Grey (1909-1916)
Henry H. Asquith (1916-1918)
Andrew Bonar Law (1918-1920)
J. R. Clynes (1920-1921)
Herbert Samuel (1921-1926)
Winston Churchill (1926-1930)
Stanley Baldwin (1930-Present)

List of US Presidents:

William McKinley (1897-1905)
William Hay (1905-1907)
Robert La Follette (1907-1913)
William Randolph Hearst (1913-1925)
William Gibbs McAdoo (1915-1926)
National Security Council (1926)
Douglas MacArthur (1926-1927)
Franklin Delano Roosevelt (1927-Present)

List of German Chancellors:

Bernard von Bulow (1900-1904)
Arthur von Posadowsky-Wehner (1904-1910)
Friedrich Naumann (1910-1913)
Max Weber (1913-1918)
Gustav Stresseman (1918-1920)
Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck (1920-1923)
Hjalmar Schacht (1923-1926)
Wilhelm Marx (1926-1928)
Franz von Papen (1928-Present)

Sorry didn't see this. I would be perfectly fine with option 3, as me being the strongest power in the area (and my power-hungryness) would likely create a vaccum that would push Kolchak into power.

He hasn't been for long; he only took over as Kolchak last turn.

Okay then. I'll add an event for this in the End of Turn update, from next turn onwards you will have control over most of the Provisional Government.

Dammit, that's the second time I make a mistake!

Sorry, Never Again, I thought I was posting yet I was actually editing your post. What I meant to say was that the turn is now over, we're on the waiting process for the next turn to appear. There's no need to send orders or negotiate, I'm just retconning the End of Turn update for Early 1930.

Perfectly fine! Very excited for the rest of the turn! Thanks so much for all you do.

Also, if there's time, I'll try to make a guide to Latin America like the one I made for the Balkans and the Russian Successor states. If you are interested in a particular country let me know.

Okay, Russia is solved and I'm discussing the US with Potus. That said, GoTfan informed me he cannot continue as the United Kingdom, so that country is available too. Ideally with Stanley Baldwin still as PM, otherwise it might get messy to explain his short premiership.

Kalwejt made a rather interesting suggestion, which is to actually reduce the number of playable countries (and thus encourage experienced players being in charge of most of the world powers.

As we stand, we have:

Italy, France, Germany, Russia, UK, US, Ottoman Empire and Japan (and we're struggling to fill those)

His suggestion was:

France, Germany, Russia, UK, Ottoman Empire and Japan

Which is pretty sensible. The US has been in a steep, steep decline and is in no way in a position to be the factor it was in our World War 2, China has fragmented more and more and there's no need to have a player there other than Japan, and Italy, while very interesting, is also a role that could be filled as an NPC as a French ally, particularly as Spain and the Balkans were "solved" for the time being via peace treaty.

So that would be six players, plus one or two more if there's interest (not the case as we stand), making it far easier to speed ahead and calculate things for me.

Thoughts?

I mean, I'd lose the nation I only played a turn for, but other than that, anything that can help the game continue is something I support.

I know, which is one of the reasons why I wanted to ask for opinions, it is sort of unfair to you. I don't suppose that if we made such a change you'd be interested in switching to the UK?

I wouldn't mind taking on the good old UK

That's a good problem solver.

For the record, I like the idea of interacting with multiple players, but I think we should play it "safer" for now.
