Small l libertarians? Maybe. Probably not for a while, but it's possible if unlikely.

There's only been one sorta-example of a third party going on to win a presidential election, which is the Republican Party, who were founded while the Whigs were collapsing. I certainly don't expect the Libertarians to be the second example.
