So by one estimate it'll cost the state $5 billion.

I predict McCrory loses but the legislature refuses to repeal it, so it gets thrown out by a court.

It will be overturned, then appealed, McCory will loose Re-Election.Cooper will drop the appeal.

I certainly think McCrory's in big trouble, but I can't write him off at this point. As for the bathroom law, there's no chance it'll stand up in court. Due to President Obama's appointments, the Fourth Circuit now has a heavily Democratic lean. If it gets to SCOTUS, which doesn't seem likely, NC will still lose regardless of the presidential election. This is exactly the kind of legislation that Justice Kennedy hates, which goes back to Romer v. Evans and the animus concept. If this reaches SCOTUS, I would not be surprised to see a summary judgement against North Carolina.
