Green Garden school is small in size. It has fewer than 400 students. Nowadays, students are discussing whether there should be a store in the school. Some of them believe the store is in great need. In this way, they can buy drinks, snacks and school things more easily. But others think it’s unnecessary. If there is a store in the school , many students will spend more time and money eating and drinking. The school may not be as clean as before. It takes more time to clean the trash. So there is no need to have a store in such a small school.

Green Garden is a small school, having fewer than 400 students.  Currently, students are debating whether to create a school store.  Some of them have suggested that it is necessary.  In a school store, students could buy snacks, drinks, and school supplies easily.  However, others disagree.  They argue that a school store would lead to untidiness and that cleaning it would be too time-consuming.  They also don't believe that building and managing a store is practical for a school of its size.

Thank you so much.

And this one:

Dear Tom,
Welcome to China, the amazing country with a long history. Here I’d like to tell you some Chinese traditions and manners. When we eat a big meal together, the oldest person usually starts to eat first. When the host offers you more drinks, it’s better to accept them. When invited to a wedding party, do not wear the most fashionable clothes because it’s not your “show-time”.
Chinese way of gift giving may be different from yours. We regard 8 as our lucky number and 4 as the unlucky number. Also, never send a clock as a gift because it has the same pronunciation as the Chinese word “the end of life”. In China, traffic goes on the right. You mustn’t drive after drinking. You should also park your car properly. Once you break these rules, you will be seriously punished.

Dear Tom,

Welcome to China.  We are an amazing country with a rich history.  I'd like to let you in on some Chinese manners and traditions.

First, during a meal, it is custom for the eldest person at the table to eat first.  Secondly, if the host offers you more drinks, it is considered most polite to accept.  Third, if you are invited to a wedding party, you are encouraged to dress fine yet modestly out of courtesy for the bride and groom.

In China, gifts are exchanged differently than they are in your country, and it is discouraged to give someone a clock as a gift because the word "clock," in Chinese, has the same pronounciation as "the end of life."  [Consider elaborating]

We regard the number 8 as our lucky number and the number 4 as an unlucky number. [Consider elaborating]

Finally, if you are driving, keep in mind that traffic goes on the right in China.  Never drink and drive, and always remember to park your car properly.

And this one:

Supermarkets are public places we often visit. Here are some manners we should always follow. If we choose something, but then we decide not to buy it, we should put it back where it is. Some goods are easy to break, we should be careful. Some goods have packages, we are not allowed to remove them. We’d better use our own shopping bags instead of plastic bags. When we are checking out, we are supposed to wait in line. If we use a shopping cart, we should also put it back properly.

Swimming is a useful life-saving skill. Here are some rules about swimming safety. First, never swim alone. You’d better go swimming with adults or under the protection of a guard. Second, tell your parents about your swimming place. Third, eat something before swimming but not too much. Next, do enough warm-up exercise before you jump into the water. And dry up yourself quickly after swimming to prevent a bad cold.
Of course, never go swimming in unknown waters.

Many students think the Spring Festival Gala should be canceled not only because it costs more and more money but also it attracts fewer and fewer audience. But a few students think the gala should keep going on because it’s one of the traditional ways to celebrate the Chinese new year. It brings more fun to people. In my opinion, the gala should be canceled because many of its programs are boring. Some stars like Feng Gong and Cai Ming have repeated their acting styles for several years. People now have many others ways to celebrate Chinese new year. There is no need to have the gala at such a high cost every year.
