It seems like whatever your view on gun control, auctioning off a gun used to kill an innocent person is reprehensible.  Even if you view Zimmerman as being in the right, I don't think this can be justified as a great action.

The site he finally got to host his auction is getting spammed with fake bids. It's doubtful he'll get much in the way of real bids, if any. The bids by Tamir Rice, among others, are clearly fake. Even if someone really does want to buy the gun, I can't see it getting thru the fake bids.
