..........If Trump is elected President, will he be able to have the wall across the U.S. /Mexico border built on his own, or will he require Congressional approval first?

He might be able to start portions of it, but there's certainly not enuf executively reallocatable funds in the appropriations to be used to build it all and build it quickly.

Yes, he will be able to allow construction of the wall on the U.S.-Mexico border. He will not need the funds to be allocated to the project by Congress due to Mexico funding it.
