What do you call it when an Atlas poster is always talking about a specific state? Indyrep-itis, so named for tnvolunteer 's continous talking about New Hampshire. Nothing can cure indyrep-itis except a week-long duration of time spent away from Atlas, a visit with a psychiatrist, and a month-long visit with the people of the state said poster always talks about.*  Tongue
*=Not needed if you actually live in said state.

Early on-set in Mississippi form, but that's only to shut down an argument proposed by a latestage in New Hampshire form.

Is this just obsession with the state in general, or hatred? If it's the former, this entire forum has it for West Virginia.

I've gotten pretty obsessed with my own state lately, especially things like local history and demography.  Not really sure why.  Probably because I'm a bored nerd with no life.

No. Calm VT men infatuate every male on Atlas everyone on Atlas, particularly for their hatred of NH angry woman. I can't wait for Scott to win (58-30-12) and make Sue Minter fall behind Anthony Pollina, the Progressive, in the general. Sue Minter? More like Weak Winter, am I right?

My particular zone of obsession takes in considerably less real estate than an entire state.

In fact, I plan to launch a thread on the off topic board to further enable my obsession. Things will be ramping up soon, very soon. I'm tempted to use my Mod powers to sticky it, but well, that would be wrong. But it will get plenty of bumps anyway. Tongue

Shut up Grumps. At least I am not putting up what some might consider the Torie Update thread on the Forum Community board. Be grateful for small favors!

It's trending D, no argument there, but I doubt it'll swing over 40% in one election.

I don't actually believe it'll go 90% D, just that it's not Safe R any more. If you mean drop the persona, I'll consider it

You don't need to drop it, just update your map from SC  at 90% D to 50% R at Lean.

I mean, I find most competitive states interesting, but for me, it's more of a curiosity  as to why some folks overrate the competitiveness of Nevada and Wisconsin, both of which I think are Likely D. I can understand someone rating them Lean D, but there's no way they're toss-ups.

I love California and I could talk to great length about what makes it so great, but no, thankfully I'm not that far gone.
