Made the cut:

Probably going to come down between Des Moines, Columbia, Raleigh or Richmond for me.

Why yes, it's not the same as the state's overall.

Anyway, it'll probably come down to Juneau, Austin, Raleigh, Salt Lake City, and Boston

I voted for 13, and that was pretty generous. Capital cities are almost always terrible. Austin, Nashville, Madison, Cheyenne, and Trenton at the top

I totally get the other cities, but what exactly do you find redeeming about Trenton? I did a consulting project in downtown Trenton for a few weeks, and while there's some pretty areas by the river and the area around State St during the work week is decent, I found the rest of the city to be rather dire (and unsafe). The old Marriott downtown was one of the most depressing hotels I've ever stayed at.

State St obviously the good part. Maybe not necessarily the city itself so much as being in the Philly metro as well as near lots of nice parts of Jersey. I added that mostly to show how dire the other choices are that I have to resort to those metrics.

I voted for more, but my top 7 are Madison, Montpelier, Olympia, St. Paul, De Moines, Boston, and Denver.

So... The less number of these I vote on, the more my vote's worth. Like inflation.

I'm dumb and accidentally voted for one (Springfield!), which isn't my favorite state capital, but it is underrated!
