Virtually every elected Republican will have endorsed Trump by November.

Those in solidly Republican states won't take any kind of hit. Those in blue/bluish states could hurt their re-election chances.

I will never vote for a Trump supporter. It's an immediate disqualifier for me.

I feel bad for the ones in bluish states (see: Kelly Ayotte).  They can't spurn Trump, and they can't embrace him.  He's put them in a horrible position.

This is a non-issue.

They can just use the party line. It's the ones proactively not endorsing Trump who are causing greater damage to the party.

Unity is king in politics.

Those who are really wishy-washy, just saying something like "I support the nominee", but never defending him in public, acting as a surrogate, or appearing on stage with him....I doubt it'll be an issue for them beyond 2016.  But then there's a whole spectrum of degrees of embrace or shun on either side of that, and the people on either extreme are taking the biggest risk.

Finally something balanced from you. Looks like you are starting to warm up to Trump, like many others. Smiley
