I am sponsoring this Amendment on behalf of the president. It's purpose is to correct a typo in the proposed Fourth Constitution that would eject the current administration from office three weeks before the next presidential election is scheduled to take place. I would note that the intent of the ConCon at the time of its adjournment was to allow the incumbent president and vice president to remain in office until after the June elections; this amendment allows that intent to go forward.

As the Constitution provides for a way to admit "new" states to the Union, this is slightly less pressing. I plan to bring this amendment to a vote, and then introduce a separate one re-admitting Arizona.
