He's the more libertarian brother, but so many view them as one and negatively - it's not really great to be associated with them especially millions of dollars worth.  I'd probably still vote for Johnson (assuming he is the nominee, there might be some fighting within the LNC too)

I don't think millions of dollars will be able to help Johnson's total inability to speak in public.

The Libertarian Party should just rename itself to "The Billionaires' and Clueless Teenagers' party"

Hardly a surprise, though I would be interested in seeing a strong Libertarian bid.

Not bad. Unless I'm forgetting something, I don't think we've had Kochbucks since 1980, when they probably doubled the support of the LP candidate Ed Clark, including getting him over 10% in a state.

GJ still needs to get the nomination, though. There are definitely LP delegates who will look at Johnson's associations with Koch and Weld and view them as negatives.

Apparently an important party in this deal isn't aware of it, though: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/libertarian-candidate-disputes-koch-funding-story/

If anything, the Koch Brothers should focus on Senate races (NV, FL, OH, PA) instead.

The AFP network has a massive GOTV effort. They'll use that in those states (already are in WI). They can bankroll Johnson on the side.

Not really. They'll be back in the GOP column in a few years time.
