Why on Earth do you show WA and NJ as tossups? Your map is dumb. If NC is a tossup, CO is going to Clinton. If WA is a tossup, the Democrats are getting far less than 170 EVs (other states that you have going Dem that would vote RIGHT of WA include MN, ME, and probably OR and CT). Your map makes no sense.

To answer your question, though, if FL, OH, and PA go to Trump, then PA (or FL) will be the state that puts Trump over the top. NC would also go Trump in that situation, but well before FL or PA.

Yea, CO should be toss as well, but than it becomes a pick 1, 2, or 3 over the top question.  Which is fine, to discuss as well.

Again, the map makes no sense, especially WRT Washington State. And again, the correct answer is PA, or possibly FL. NC should already be red on your map if PA and FL are.

If Trump wins FL, OH, and PA...obviously he's winning NC.     So in your bizzaro-world map the answer is easily NC.

Of course you have NM, WA, and NJ all as tossups while giving CO to Trump,  so not sure how useful this is.

Michigan.

But If he gets all those states, one would assume he would win NC.

If Trump wins even one of those states, let alone all three, there is no way he loses NC.

Pennsylvania, because he wins North Carolina before he wins Pennsylvania. But he ain't winning Florida or Pennsylvania, and Ohio is a very longshot.

Vosem, try not to allow your personal disliking of Trump influence your good judgement.

Ohio is a lock for trump and Florida and Pennsylvania are real battlegrounds in a Hillary vs Trump election.

Pennsylvania puts him over the top by a razor thin margin after he's already locked up NC and won narrowly in OH and FL

Ljube, you're going to be really disappointed when Hillary blows Trump out of the water in every "battleground" state.

As silly as Ljube's predictions tend to be, your prediction map is even worse. Tongue

Hillary winning Utah, the Dakotas, Montana, and Mississippi?!

I really want to hear your reasoning for Washington being a toss-up, but not Oregon.

I will likely think your answer is incredibly stupid, but I'm morbidly curious.

You and I start from different premises. My premise is that the election is going to be close and low turnout. Yours is a blowout election with high turnout.

Too early to tell who is right, but one should at least try to be consistent with one's premise.

I want to wait until after the convention before I change my projection.  I think a Goldwater-esque landslide is still possible.

WA, NM, and NJ are toss-ups, huh? I guess it's still the year 2004...

If he wins those 3, he wins NC as well.

At first I thought this was asking which would be the critical state. I'd say PA is most likely because of its size. Although who knows.

Romney + FL + OH + IA + CO + ME-02 + wins in the House is one possibility.

Having AZ as a toss up makes more sense than this map.

Should all states in your map break as they did in 2012, none of them would be required. But out of these three, NC will also go Trump.
