I hope Christie is humiliated. He deserves it for laying down with this pig.

Honestly, looking back, I'm not surprised at all he endorsed Trump. He's the same kind of bloating, arrogant blowhard in attitude that Donald Trump is. Christie is simply getting the attitude he gives to everyone else.

Christie is like that fat kid that pretends he's friends with the bully, and pretends the bully is laughing with him rather than at him.

I'm not Republican but I used to kind of think Christie would make a good president because of the way he handled that hurricane mess. He seemed to be in control of the situation. But now his true colors are showing and it's not a very pretty picture to look at.

Most prosecutors who go into politics are jerks.  They are inherently unfair, and gear themselves to "winning" more than to finding truth.  It's a function of our adversary system of justice and its effect on these guys.  I've often wanted to have a contest between Trey Gowdy and Chris Christie to determine who the biggest jerk is.

Unfair?  Somewhat; prosecutors are who they are.  But one thing few of them are is thoughtful, and another thing few of them are is reflective.  Those are qualities a President of any stripe ought to have, and Christie has little of both.

Interesting. Makes a lot of sense.
