In this case, likeable is not important. One candidate is serious and experienced while the other is just a goofus who talks trash and is playing the public to see how far he can go.

Definitely more people find Trump likable than Hillary. Definitely more people (and by a greater margin) find Trump unlikable than Hillary. Answered Hillary since the net effect of "likability" in this election will help her, but the true answer here is kind of nuanced.

Vosem, try to keep your integrity. Don't let your hatred of Trump cloud your judgement. Don't join the Hilbot army that dominates this forum.

I see Vosem's point.  I just don't agree with it.

Regardless of who is the most self-seeking, people view Hillary as the more self-absorbed candidate, and that makes her the least likeable of the two.  Trump understands "branding" and "brand messaging" in ways Hillary can only imagine vaguely; it's why he gets away with what he gets away with.  I'm saying this as a compliment; such a skill will come in handy if he gets elected.

No one likes people like Hillary.  If she weren't a woman, she'd be a non-starter; she'd be viewed as someone who was jealous of their spouse's success and felt "entitled" to the same shot their spouse got.  The same would be true if we already had a woman as President; she'd be viewed as an insult to serious female candidates, instead of "the 'one' with the best shot".  Hillary's all about herself; Carly Simon's "You're So Vain" fits her to a "t".
