What demographic actually supports free trade? I know Blacks, Working-class Whites, and Union members are virulently opposed to all forms of free trade for the most part. But what groups actually support it?

My snarky answer would be people who understand what's best for American enterprise, but I'd say the most consistent supporters over the last few decades would definitely be your Club For Growth types and more business-oriented Republicans.

As well as business-oriented Democrats.

Let's not forget Midwestern farmers who stand to gain from the passage of the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

Yeah farmers are a big one. Agricultural media here has strongly criticized Clinton and Trump for their anti TPP stances. I would say most middle to upper middle class suburbanite republicans are at least favorably disposed to free trade. People who's jobs can't be outsourced but benefit from cheaper goods and don't have an anti- corporate bent.
