Depends. If there was a popular cross pary and nationwide rebellion against 'English' rule in Scotland (an odd assumption considering Scots have a strong influence in the Cabinet) I would support Scottish independence and lobby for control over North Sea oil revenue. If it was a lefty anarchist or partisan group pressing for independence (ie the Scottish Socialists) then I wouldn't support it in a million years.

I would have to say that since I now live in Texas, I would support the revolt depending on the reason. I'm quite sure that any revolt from the state of Texas would be due to the continual destruction of the federal system and the ending of state rights. Also, a socialist movement in the central government might force Texas out.

My home state of Connecticut: I'd join the Fed's and "accidentally" burn the entire state down so we can start again

Texas: It would probably be some conservative movement that i could see myself jumping on board
