New Hampshire has dirt cheap state run liquor stores. What's not to like?

Good. I'll need a lot of it if I ever visit the state.

Yes, and now they even allow residents of the nation's capital to shop there as well.

Didn't realize NH's stores were state-run. I've said a lot of times before I like PA's stores. If you don't live in a city or a metro area you still have access to all kinds of liquor via the state stores, and the state system can transfer items from store to store quickly. Sometimes they deeply discount high end specialty items, mainly wines.

Perhaps the best system I've come across, though, is DE/MD. In DE they do not allow alcohol in grocery stores and gas stations and so forth, which is good because that would really kill off selection, but it's privatized. Beer (that's the one big complaint I have about PA - beer regulation is whacky), wine, liquor, cordials, specialty, and local items all in one big shopping center. On average 2 to 4 dollars cheaper than PA and no sales tax!! DE is awesome.
