..........Tennessee Senator Bob Corker for Vice President.

He has the legislative experience that Trump has set as a priority, and he has foreign policy credentials.

It's gonna be between Newt or Corker.

Hopefully not Gingrich.  It just shouts Two Old White Men and also both unfaithful to their wives.  Perhaps a Clinton/Feinstein ticket would make a Gingrich pick less painful.

I think that Croker would be the second best pick that Trump could make after Kasich.  People vote less for a ticket because of the positions the VP brings but rather because of the negative baggage of that person.  Croker is a moderate who won't say anything stupid and he would bring foreign policy savvy to the ticket as well.  He won't help carry Tennessee as it doesn't need any help.  But he might push Georgia and NC to the GOP.  I have my fingers crossed that Trump is smart enough to go with this proven winner.

Kasich would probably be better as he would bring more experience and help carry Ohio.

I think Corker would be a smart, safe choice.  But Trump isn't smart or safe, so he'll probably choose somebody very different.

... Omarosa, you're hired.

Imagine Trump sets up an obstacle course at the RNC, invites participants including Gingrich and Omarosa, and declares that the winner will be his VP running-mate... lol

Gingrich would probably be as negative a choice as Palin or Agnew.  He might help bring home Georgia, but really, he never held elective office outside of his CD, and at least once, he barely was reelected.  Hopefully, The Donald is smarter than he seems to be and is able to listen to wise people about this choice.

I'm sure someone already has made this joke, but how awesome would it be if it was Donald Trump/John Miller 2016?

Sounds worse than William Miller was for Goldwater in 1964.

Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) would be the best pick for Trump if he could be convinced to take the position.

He'll pick John Miller. They know each other tremendously well, Miller is a tremendous press secretary and he'd be a tremendous Vice President. Tremendous.

Haha. LOL.

Yes, but Corker is the Kind of guy I expect the Trumpster to pick. He doesn't care to Balance the ticket with gender/minority or someone from a swing state. Drumpf thinks that he’s so great, that he’ll win anyway.

Is there any viable minority candidate anyway?

By viable I mean someone else than Ben Carson, of course.

It's sad that there has been so much talk of picking a 'minority candidate' this past decade. By pure logic, the candidate better suited for the job the majority of the time will not be a 'minority candidate'.

It would be signal after the Trumpster's bigoted rhetoric during this campaign. There are enough minority or female candidates avaiable with the same/simular qualifications than Corker or Gingrich.

Oh please. You're actually saying that choosing Newt Gingrich would be equivalent to choosing Sarah Palin? So you think that experience operating as Speaker of the House is similar to that of being the Governor of Alaska? You think that Palin offers the same level of policy knowledge/experience as Gingrich? And what exactly are the "wise people" saying about who Trump should choose?

Why would Corker agree to that? What could he possibly have to gain?
