by insinuating that it's possible Senator Obama could meet the same fate as RFK?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0QAewVrR28

And yet she has the nerve to lecture Bernie about dropping out for party unity.

Anyone remember when she mostly stopped the character attacks though? Or when she was arguably beating him in the popular vote? Or when she was actually competitive with the superdelegates?

Or when she didn't demand to have a say over her opponent's eventual cabinet picks?

True. She just made sure she'd be on the cabinet herself. Much better.

Hillary has never once called for Bernie to drop out.

Let's open an embassy in Cuba and make Bernie ambassador.

Hillary has always supported Bernie's right to stay in until the last primary.

Nobody has suggested that Sanders drop out before California. But he should stop attacking the presumptive nominee.

She didn't lobby for the position. It was Obama who urged her to be Sec. of State.

I think her point was just that the 1968 primary was still being contested as late June, when RFK happened to be assassinated.

We'll never know what might have happened behind closed doors. I wouldn't put it past her to demand such a concession from Obama, then feign reluctance later so no one would get suspicious.

Or can we just go by what all sides have said about what happened and accept that she didn't maliciously connive her way to the top of the state department like Machiavelli?

Technically Clinton herself isn't pressuring Bernie to drop out, it's mostly newspapers/media outlets.

Clinton's surrogates ARE pressuring him to shut up and tow the line, a somewhat reasonable, somewhat unreasonable request.

That's what the people at the Argus Leader who were with her in the interview said it was. That's also the take RFK Jr. had on the comments.

Oh, this old lie again. You guys really can never let go of the feigned outrage, can you?

That's what the people at the Argus Leader who were with her in the interview said it was. That's also the take RFK Jr. had on the comments.

This. She also mentioned her husband's campaign if you actually listen to the statement in context. I guess she wanted him to get assassinated as well. Roll Eyes

Hillary has always supported Bernie's right to stay in until the last primary.

And this.

Anyone remember when she mostly stopped the character attacks though? Or when she was arguably beating him in the popular vote? Or when she was actually competitive with the superdelegates?

This too.

Actually we do. Go read "Game Change". She didn't want to be SoS and there had to be put a lot of pressure to her from Rahm, Podesta, Biden and Obama himself to accept.
