True. She just made sure she'd be on the cabinet herself. Much better.
She didn't lobby for the position. It was Obama who urged her to be Sec. of State.
We'll never know what might have happened behind closed doors. I wouldn't put it past her to demand such a concession from Obama, then feign reluctance later so no one would get suspicious.
Or can we just go by what all sides have said about what happened and accept that she didn't maliciously connive her way to the top of the state department like Machiavelli?
