You can find the dem. results here: http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/files/elections/2016/by_state/WA_Page_0524.html?SITE=AP&SECTION=POLITICS

As I understand it, the rule is that ballots must be postmarked by 8 pm, not received by the county at 8 pm. Yes, that means some ballots are counted days later but it doesn't matter as Sanders and TRUMP will win easily. What would be hilarious though is if Kasich or Cruz ends up at 20.00001% on election night and we're waiting days for the last ballots to reveal whether they get delegates or not.

FWIW, some OR votes were cast before Kasich/Cruz dropped out. That isn't the case here.

For what it's worth, none of what we have so far is from Olympia, Bellingham, Seattle, or Spokane. Yakima and Vancouver are reporting and TRUMP is not experiencing any weakness in them.

GOP by CD: http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/files/elections/2016/by_cd/WA_GOP_0524_VD.html?SITE=AP&SECTION=POLITICS

At this time, I am ready to project a 3-0 TRUMP allocation in these districts: 3,4,5,6

That gives TRUMP 12 delegates.

Hillary's win here gives me a bad feeling about Sanders's chances in California.

AP has given TRUMP 9/14 proportional delegates at this point. Apparently we aren't getting specific results for districts 1,7,9 and 10 at this point but I see no reason why TRUMP wouldn't manage a 3-0 allocation in those districts since he did it in the others and is performing pretty uniformly across the state.  So 39/44 statewide, though it will likely be updated to 40 or 41 once the late vote comes in.

Also, with Kittias county now reporting we are done getting returns for tonight. 26% of the democratic vote and 31% of the republican vote will come in over the next few days. Currently, Hillary is ahead 54-46. TRUMP leads Cruz 76.2-10.1%. Kasich is at 9.9%, Carson 3.8%.

AP has put up results from Districts 1, 7, 9, and 10, and TRUMP will get all of the delegates from those districts. So that gives him 30/30 from the CDs.

For the proportional delegates, he should get 10, and may manage 11. If he dramatically falls or rises in the late count he could get to 9 or 12, but that's probably not going to happen. So 40-41/44 statewide for TRUMP, with the rest going to uncommitted.

So which state will put Trump over 1,237?

Assuming he can't count on a single uncommitted delegate vote, he is at 1139 after tonight in terms of raw pledged delegates. (assuming 40/44 from WA).

Here's the agenda for June 7th.

At 8 PM, New Jersey closes its polls. WTA state, with 51 delegates. Puts TRUMP at 1190. At 9 PM, South Dakota closes its polls, another winner take all state, with 29 delegates. Puts TRUMP at 1219. New Mexico also closes here, but it's a proportional state, so it will take a while to call the delegates. Let's skip it for now. Then comes Montana at 10 PM, complete with 27 WTA delegates. Puts TRUMP at 1246.

That's right. California is completely, totally irrelevant. And if you assume TRUMP can count on votes from 18 uncommitted delegates (pretty likely, a lot of his preferred guys got elected in PA), Montana becomes irrelevant. If you assume TRUMP can count on votes from 47 uncommitted delegates (well within the realms of possibility), then South Dakota becomes irrelevant and TRUMP gets the nomination  from NJ alone.

Apologies to every California poster, but your state has once again been relegated to meaning literally nothing in the primary calendar. Barring major surprises, both TRUMP and Clinton will have their nominations called by the networks before CA closes its polls. TRUMP won't have to rely on superdelegates; Clinton will but honestly I don't see why they'd switch to Bernie en masse at the convention.

The late vote will start coming in in about an hour.

Although according to the SoS website only some counties are scheduled to update today.

Notable being some of the more populated counties: Clark, King, Pierce, Snohomish, Thurston, amongst others.

FWIW: Bernie took about 60-65% of the "late vote" in Oregon, so there might be some significant changes in overall numbers.

Clark, Spokane, Kitsap should all flip to Bernie today and wouldn't be surprised to see dramatic shifts in King and Pierce counties and Snohomish move closer to 50-50.

We are still waiting on some final numbers from late votes in Oregon, in several larger counties, so wouldn't be surprised to see this limp on for another week or so in Washington as well.

The SOS has June 7th as the next update for Columbia County.

Sanders 310135 46.48%

So Sanders is already starting to tick upwards.

It would mean Lief has to withdraw his thanking of the state for voting for Clinton. Good enough for me.
