What if Donald Rumsfeld has surprisingly won the GOP nomination in 1988 and Lloyd Bentsen the Dem nomination?

Rumsfeld picks Kansas Senator Bob Dole as his vice presidential running mate. They still win, despite losing some Southern states to Bentsen/Gore. It's a classic election. Rumsfeld/Dole wins 12% of the black vote, Jesse Jackson campaigns vigorously for Bentsen/Gore despite this.

Businessman Donald Rumsfeld of Illinois/Senator Robert Dole of Kansas-312 EV/53.5%
Senator Lloyd Bentsen of Texas/Senator Albert A. Gore, Jr. of Tennessee-226 EV/47.4%
