Going on this theme...
Who would be advocated putting the Japanese (and Germans for that matter) in camps?
Would anybody be advocating staying out entirely even after Pearl Harbor?
Would anybody be advocating that Hitler "has some good ideas"?

I'd like to think that I would have fought in Spain in the Lincoln Brigade and would thus be denied the chance to enlist due to being a "premature anti-fascist."

No, why would America get involved in Europe? That's stupid.

Now, if you excuse me, I'm about to be send to some camp in the east. Hopefully, they have a wifi connection.

We probably have a lot more Roosevelt Democrats who would support the Japanese camps. BRTD, jfern, etc. Quite a few of them are pretty authoritarian.

I would be for entering after Pearl Harbor. I would be vehemently against internment camps.

It's easy to say things without a hindsigh, but, in all fairness, I can see most of us supporting the interment due to anti-Japanese hysteria.

Considering the support for GITMO I wouldn't be surprised

probably dead, somewhere in North Africa

or sitting waiting for one of the European landings, in which i'd probably die.  I'm not too optimistic about my chances in surviving either of the World Wars really, although on the front line you'd probably have a slightly larger chance in the second one
