Why do 80% support an opponent of single payer healthcare?

Bitterness that the favorite son didn't win the nomination, I would presume.

Trump could surprise us. Hillary was very clear in her opposition.

To be fair to jfern, I think I've seen polls showing her winning the Canada primary as well.

(Although she lost the real "Americans living in Canada" primary, obviously.)

Why do 80% support an opponent of single payer healthcare?

Because U.S. health care system under Obamacare is superior to Canada's?

No one ever splits up the Atlantic Provinces. We need someone to Make Prince Edward Island Great Again. Then again, I'm not sure when (if?) it was great (there must've been a reason why my great-grandfather left it about 110 years ago).

Also,
Bitterness that the favorite son didn't win the nomination, I would presume.

There is this to be taken into account:

Alberta was Trump's best province even though that's where Cruz was born.

I wish this mattered. Just ask President Kerry how much support from outside the U.S. helps.

God bless Alberta.

Canada's stifling social norms and their left-wing media culture prevent fair-handed portrayals of Trump. If they saw the whole picture and were actually paying attention, I think 35-40% would support Trump.

So yeah. Canada isn't a "left-wing" country but they're also not stupid, so of course they would reject Trump.

Why do 80% support an opponent of single payer healthcare?

I'm Canadian and what does this even mean

Bernie could run as an independent and get second place here.

I could see Clinton 45%, Sanders 30%, Trump 20%, and the rest going to smaller parties. I can also see Clinton 40%, Generic R 30%, Sanders 25%.

Trudeau isn't dumb. He's far more qualified to lead a country than Trump.

Can I ask where you got the 52 electoral votes. I assume it was by looking at California's 53, seeing that Canada has only slightly fewer people, then subtracting one to get 52. Correct me if I'm wrong.
