If she were an attractive conservative woman, she wouldn't get anywhere near the hate she receives. Just look at her former co-star Elizabeth Hasselbeck, who in addition to being just as politically partisan and obnoxious as Rosie, is also dishonest and dumb as a rock. But you never hear liberals complain about her the way conservative vermin hate on Rosie.

Oh please, right wing slime would hate on her just the same if she was skinny. She's unattractive, an outspoken liberal, a lesbian, and certain people just can't stand that.

There was hate from the left about Elizabeth Hasselbeck.  I don't know how it compares to the hate from the right towards Rosie, but it was certainly there.  I've heard it.

If by hate, you mean acknowledging her lack of intelligence and blatant dishonesty, then yes. The left has never vilified Elizabeth the way the right has Rosie, and has certainly never personally attacked her in the way they have Rosie.

Maybe you're right, I don't know.  All I know is "never" is a really strong word.  Obviously nobody should be threatened for their political opinion, even if it's horrible.

It's the same as with Nickelback and the New York Yankees, one of the reasons I like her is because she gets so much undeserved hate from people for no reason. People only hate her because it's the popular thing to do

I liked her in A League of Their Own and on her talk show. Have you ever seen the one where she's interviewing Ricky Martin and is pretending to be in love with him? Hilarious in hindsight, but considering it was still a crime in 13 states at the time the episode was taped, not surprising.
