I bought V during a steam sale 3 years ago but I really couldn't get into it - I only have 16 hours of playtime, and that's several game attempts that didn't draw my interest. Has it improved since then? Would mods and/or DLC improve the game enough that I'll like it now even if I didn't like the original base game? I really want to like this game because I love both III and IV - I bought both on release and have put probably 1000+ hours into each game over the last 14 years

I'm awful at these games and always want to win.. and my bleeding heart liberalness comes in so I'm uncomfortable being overly militaristic even in a game...so I play Babylonia for the easy science victory.

Steam says I have 1436 hours on Civ V lol.

If we were younger and single, I'd propose here on the spot. Grin

So how did a thread about strategy games end up getting into the business of arranged marriages? I thought mods were suppose to keep threads on topic, not do the opposite. Tongue

When you play as Russia as much as I do in various games, especially in Paradox Games, where manpower is just another resource to be utilized, the fields are strewn with the victims of my conquests. Most of them, my own people.
