.....claiming Swedish ancestry when in fact they were German.

http://www.buzzfeed.com/andrewkaczynski/trump-mocks-warrens-native-american-heritage-claim-but-false

In his first book, The Donald said his grandfather immigrated to the United States from Sweden. As pointed out in multiple biographies of The Donald and as a BuzzFeed News review of immigration records show, the claim isn’t true.

I think "blasts" is inappropriate. A more accurate description would be "pathetically bleats" or "once again demonstrates the acuity of an exceptionally shallow and mentally handicapped teen".

Every time you blink your eyes, Trump lies.

Untrue. I can't possibly blink that fast for that long.

Technically, that could well be true. The question was not whether you could blink as many times as he lies.

And I thought it was well-established that Warren is 1/32 Native-American.

Seeing as how this worked out so well for Senator Scott Brown...

I guess the Trumplicans won't be making a concerted effort to get at least 5 percent of the Native American vote this November.

Not to mention that Germans were Trump's worst white ancestry in the primary.  If there's more to this like "Of course I'm not German, they're all a bunch of Nazis!" style quotes, his Upper Midwest problem just got worse.

That's because us Dutch/Germans are smart folks Wink

Trump did badly with Germans because the Germans tended to support Kasich narrowly.

I want to point out, there's a difference between claiming you're a Native-American and mistaking Swedish ancestry for German. I can't tell every country I'm from. French, German, Scottish, and Irish ancestry, and 1/32 Native American(Cherokee). If I run for President though, that will probably get fact checked and I'll be a liar about one of those.

I am about a quarter German and have a German last name. I'm just thankful I'm not a Trump supporter.

I don't think that's true?  I believe I saw a statistical analysis that Scandinavian ancestry had a strong negative association with Trump support.

That sounds likely. Also, Trump did exceptionally poorly in places like Minnesota and Wisconsin, right?

Winfield, this is not an Atlasian campaign. You don't gotta speak like that.

And I thought it was well-established that Warren is 1/32 Native-American.

Is 1/32 enough for her to be called a "woman of color"?
