By reputable, I mean ones along the lines of PPP, Marist, Monmouth, WaPo, etc.

I'm voting no because I truly do not believe this will be a competitive race.

I think once he takes the lead, he will keep it till the Election Day.

$500 here and now at 2-1 odds Trump doesn't win. Put up or shut up. Either way I'm happy either getting your money or not listening you ramble incoherently from here till November. But either way, step up or step back.

I find it hard to read any polls.

The ones I have seen always show Hillary nose diving until she is level with Donald, and then, for no reason, she bounces back.

Clearly, the polls at this point are spurious and no meaningful interpretation can be made from them.

Depends on what happens at said conventions. I'd put both conventions at a 20% chance of having major issues.

Having an established positive reputation.  I listed some in the OP.  You and others can probably think of some more.

I know it's late Ljube .... you must be dreaming.
Maybe sleep walking and typing on your computer.
Listen to yourself .... you are making no sense.

More speeches like that last one and he'll be a lot more appealing.

Yes, one party keeping the white house for 12 years has only happened once in the last 50 years (1988) and even that should have been won by the opposing party(dukakis blew it).  If Trump can behave more like that speech tonight of course he could lead in some polls.  In fact, if trump stayed away from the racial nonsense and focused on hitting Hillary on things like TPP and NAFTA he would lead much like W Bush did Gore at points throughout 2000.

He will most likely revert back to talking about himself and insulting Mexicans.

This is an open seat election. You should have a few lead changes back-and-forth, regardless of the parties' nominees.

I swear Ljube is actually the former Iraqi Information Minister under Saddam:

Everything is fine. We are destroying Clinton in polls by double digits. We will lead from now to November. Her campaign will implode with the energy of a thousand suns.
